PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
Our defence industry is one of the structures that makes the biggest contribution to the establishment of stability and peace with the national and independent technologies it offers to our country. To be strong and deterrent in the face of today's highly variable and various threats and to achieve peace, stability and non-conflict are only possible thanks to a strong army and high-tech defence systems that this army should have. The biggest resource of defence systems using the highest technologies must be an independent and national defence industry.
As the Presidency of Defence Industries, we are working for our national security, survival of our country and safety of our people. Our defence industry, which has reached the point it deserved in the world, keeps offering benefits to our security forces in particular, and the safety, welfare and technological advancement of friendly and allied nations.
Our priority target is that our defence industry provides the highest value to our country's high-tech value-added export targets. The products and systems created by the Turkish defence industry will continue to proudly fly the flag of our country abroad and to give confidence to its users.
One of the key tasks of our Presidency is to take decisive steps that will take us forward through an agile management approach.
In today's world, where groundbreaking technologies surround the world and these technologies are reflected in the systems in the defence industry, digitalization is also among our priority targets.
As the Presidency, one of our key focal points is to develop the human resource by rendering it sustainable in our defence industry, with a focus on competence and merits, which has entered a new era under the leadership of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Achieving coordination, which is vital to the success in defence industry, uniting in common national targets and gathering all stakeholders around them, are the most critical targets in the route of our Presidency.
In all the steps that we will take, we will say “First Türkiye, first nation”.
It is our greatest motivation and aim to successfully finalise defence industry projects that will open the doors of a new era to our country in the air, land, sea, space and cyber fields.
Together with our Turkish Armed Forces, National Police Force, National Intelligence Organization and all our stakeholders, we will continue to work hard around-the-clock for the survival, security and future of our nation.
In this cause, our main strength comes from the valuable labour force of defence sector. No obstacles can ever stand in our way when their competence is combined with the love of the country.
When we start our endeavours with the permission of the Allah, the way will be clear.
