In the scope of this project, it is aimed to replace the existing combat systems of BARBAROS Class Frigates, 4 units, registered in the inventory of Turkish Naval Forces with indigenously developed systems in accordance with the requirements of the state of the art technology.

This project, with modernization by domestic and national means, is a first in the world in terms of its scope.

It is planned that the modernization of the first frigate will be completed and the frigate will be in service in 2023.
