188 D eveloped simultaneously with HİSAR-A system, HİSAR Missile Launching System is a multi-purpose missile launcher which deploys and launches short and medium range HİSAR Air Defence Missiles. HİSAR-O Missile Launching System, configured as a medium range air defence missile launcher, is controlled by HİSAR-O Fire Control Centre which supervises three launchers within an air defence battalion. By means of its vertical launch capability, HİSAR-O has a 360 degrees of coverage area to provide air defence for fixed and critical assets. HİSAR MISSILE LAUNCHING SYSTEM H İSAR missiles are defence weapons developed to protect military bases, ports, facilities and troops against threats from the air. Their targets are military aircraft, attack helicopters, navigation missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles. HİSAR missiles present a modular structure with a family concept and are designed to be compatible with different platform integrations. Thanks to its vertical launch capability, it provides 360° area defence. HİSAR uses an IIR seeker for terminal guidance while RF data link provides course updates during midcourse.
