396 ELECTRONIC WARFARE SYSTEMS T he Turkish defence industry offers high-technology and cost-efficient electronic warfare solutions in compliance with NATO standards to the Turkish Armed Forces and Security Forces for tactical superiority in internal and external operations and successful protection and prevention missions. The industry, which has peaked with KORAL and AKKOR projects, is an important solution partner in meeting electronic support, electronic attack, self-defence and test requirements. It is also an important supplier for ally countries. The industry conducts R&D activities in this field and invests in necessary areas before public and private sector representatives for new technologies to completely eliminate Turkey’s external dependence in electronic warfare technologies which are considered to be critical technologies.
