TURKISH DEFENCE INDUSTRY PRODUCT CATALOGUE

481 A SPILSAN Energy has come to the final stage to acquire EASA certification, required for offering Aircraft Batteries, manufactured for state-owned aircrafts since 1987, for civil aviation too. The Production Organisation Approval and Design Organisation Approval from EASA have already been obtained, and therefore the most important stage of the EASA certificate process has been completed since 2016 when the accreditation process was launched. Upon completion of testing of batteries manufactured, EASA Certification process will be completed in 2019, and ASPILSAN Energy will be able to offer its Aircraft Batteries to civil aviation industry as well. AIRCRAFT AND HELICOPTER BATTERIES S ystem has +12 V supply, 4 5A relay outputs, 2 10A relay outputs, 2 CAN buses, 5 digital input/outputs and 5 analog inputs (12 bit). Battery Management System operates at 80 MhZ operating frequency. System is supported with 32 KB RAM and 16 KB flash. BATTERY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM B attery systems are used in many defence industry applications from Telecommunication devices to rocket systems, from Jammers to Space and a significant amount of funds is spent in manufacturing and R&D activities. ASPILSAN Energy R&D activities, in particular, focus on small, light, energy-intense battery systems with long replacement periods. It is critically important that the energy capacity and intensity required for systems are correctly identified in order to meet specific end user power requirements for long intervals or defined intervals, and in some cases, for instant requirements with high amperages, and it is the responsibility of manufacturers to come up with such solutions. This requires the batteries used in Robotic systems in particular are more functional compared to today’s standards, and as smart and innovative as the system itself. ASPILSAN Energy supplies Turkish Armed Forces, ASELSAN, ROKETSAN and some other companies with special solutions for their specific battery needs by using chemicals such as Lithium ion, Lithium Polymer, Nickel Cadmium and Nickel Metal Hydride. Over 300 types of batteries used for different purposes and functions -that could be produced only by few companies across the world- are manufactured 100% locally at internationally competitive prices. ASPILSAN Energy designs special batteries and develops solutions to meet the mobility needs in civilian and military systems including radios, satellite man pack terminals, thermal cameras, anti-tanks and missile systems (such as TOW and Milan).
