550 DEFENCE INDUSTRY SUBSYSTEMS In addition to main platforms and other critical subsystems, which are force multipliers of the Turkish Armed Forces and Security Forces, the Turkish defence industry produces and exports many other subsystems. These systems are subcomponents of larger systems and platforms of land, sea and air elements. They can be used for improvements, maintenance, repairs, training and tests or as replacements and contribute to the continuity and combat readiness of related elements.
